I created this artwork for the Canadian Wildlife Habitat Stamp Competition. I used photos of male and female mourning doves and I included the oak leaves to include something of the city I live in. I hope you like it.
This painting has just been accepted into the "Artists of Halton" juried show at the Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre. The reception for the show is Sunday March 15th 2-5.

I have a passion for nature and wildlife and creating art. I have been drawing as long as I can remember and spent many hours as a teenager capturing my favourite pictures in pencil.
