This is gorgeous Peyote Lake in Banff, Alberta, Canada. The lake looks like a wolf which is why I like it so much. I think the clouds really emphasize the turquoise lake and majestic mountains. I have a passion for nature and wildlife and creating art. I have been drawing as long as I can remember and spent many hours as a teenager capturing my favourite pictures in pencil. Art has always been a part of my family. My grandmother, Jean Monkhouse was an oil painter and art teacher. She was my first art teacher, and I will always remember painting with her in her cottage in Atikokan. My dad, Lawrence Monkhouse is a professional photographer. I sell my original artwork on Etsy! www.Etsy.com/shop/LaurelBestArt Follow me on Instagram @laurelbestart You can find me on www.facebook.com/LBestArt. Thank-you so much Andrew and Aileen. :)
Fantastic image of Peyto Lake; which is one of the most difficult and most beautiful lakes to photograph due to its angle and its orientation. Fantastic image; also reminds of one of my images. Beautifully done.
