Artist's Description
I created this watercolour for the Canadian Wildlife Habitat Stamp Competition. Although I didn't end up on a stamp I am pleased how it turned out. The female Surf Scoter duck is brown and the male is black with a colourful beak. You can find then in Northern Ontario and Alaska in the summertime. I will be bringing this painting to the Bronte Lake Walk on Thursday July 2nd!
